Questions
How are due dates usually counted?
From the day after the starting event, in calendar days rather than working days, unless the contract says otherwise. A 45-day payment term from 1 April falls due on 16 May.
What happens if the result is a holiday?
Most statutory deadlines move to the next working day. Contractual deadlines depend on the wording — many do not shift at all.
